Jon “Apestyles” Van Fleet Doing $10K to $100K Bankroll Challenge on WPT Global

WPT Global ambassador Jon “Apestyles” Van Fleet has tweeted about doing a $10k to $100k bankroll challenge. If he fails, his beard will be shaved off!

Apestyles is one of poker’s true legends. With tens of millions of dollars worth of tournament winnings, you’d have to say that if anyone can do this, he certainly can.

I’ve decided I’m doing a 10k to 100k by May challenge on @wpt_global cash games. If I don’t make it by the end of May I’m shaving off my beard.

The thing is, though, this challenge is with cash games.

That said, we do know that Apestyles is also a highly skilled cash game player, it’s just that he is known as an online MTT specialist.

So far he has played four days and has a bankroll of $32,954, even after dumping $6,065 in one day.

WPT Global Cash Games Are the Place to Be

WPT Global is one of the fastest growing online poker platforms in the industry today. But it is still one of the new kids on the block.

For that reason, the tables are not overpopulated with highly skilled professionals making it tough to turn a profit.

In fact, WPT Global president Alex Scott reckons that the win rates possible on the site are far greater than anywhere else in 2024.
